Apple has updated its professional photo management application Aperture to address a collection of annoying issues. Aperture 3.4.4 fixes an unnamed problem that could cause the application to quit during image import and when uploading images to Photo Stream; correctly displays raw images from Nikon P7700 cameras in the import window; properly displays thumbnails with names longer than 250 characters; resolves a problem that caused warning dialogs to appear when Web albums are synced after waking from sleep; and incorporates the important-yet-undefined “stability and performance improvements.” ($79.99 new at the Mac App
