Alongside the BBEdit 10.5.5 maintenance release, Bare Bones Software has updated TextWrangler to version 4.5.3 with many of the same fixes and refinements. Highlights among the nearly 30 improvements include TextWrangler offering to move itself to the Applications folder on launch if it’s not already installed there, the option to discard existing auto-save state by holding down Command-Control-Shift while launching the app, and improved custom cursors that look better on Retina displays. View Extra Audio Details in Snow Leopard
In Snow Leopard, Option-clicking the Volume icon in the menu bar displays a list of sound input and output devices. Choose one to switch to it; it's much easier than using the Sound preference pane. Also, hold Shift and click the icon to set the system volume, which is separate from the general output volume.
