Easy Fetch Upload

If you want to upload an open file (e.g. in Photoshop or BBEdit) to a remote server via the Fetch FTP client, you can use drag-and drop without switching to the Finder. Just drag the small document icon in the window title bar to a Fetch window. If the icon won't drag, make sure the file is saved.

iTunes 11.0.5

Send Article to a Friend

Apple has released iTunes 11.0.5, a small update with just one noted bug fix: squashing a bug that caused iTunes in the Cloud to download “unexpected” (i.e., wrong) items. Oops. It’s available as a direct download from Apple’s iTunes Web page (187 MB), via Software Update on systems prior to OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, or via the Mac App Store on Mountain Lion.

Check out the Take Control ebooks that expand on the topic in this article:

In this FAQ-style ebook, iTunes expert Kirk McElhearn explains importing, tagging, organizing, playing, sharing, streaming, and more so you can get the most out of audio and video in iTunes 11, including podcasts and iTunes Radio. You'll also learn techniques for transferring media to an iPad, iPhone, or iPod.
