Adjust Multiple Column Sizes Simultaneously

Within the Finder, Column View enables you to see folder hierarchies, with each subsequent level getting its own column. Dragging on the double lines at the base of a column divider changes the preceding column's width. But Option-drag on any divider, and all the columns in the window change to the same width.

Apple has released iTunes 11.3.1 with a couple of podcast-related fixes. The update squashes a bug that prevented subscribed podcasts from updating with new episodes and rectifies an issue that caused iTunes to become unresponsive while browsing podcast episodes in List view. iTunes 11.3.1 is available as a direct download from Appleā€™s iTunes Web page or via Software Update. (Free, 229 MB, 10.6.8+)

Check out the Take Control ebooks that expand on the topic in this article:

In this FAQ-style ebook, iTunes expert Kirk McElhearn explains importing, tagging, organizing, playing, sharing, streaming, and more so you can get the most out of audio and video in iTunes 11, including podcasts and iTunes Radio. You'll also learn techniques for transferring media to an iPad, iPhone, or iPod.

This revision no longer displays the state of charge of an attached device, i.e., iPhone/iPad. You used to be able to see the percentage of battery charge in the summary for a device.

I still see the charge percentage for my attached iPhone (OS X 10.9.4, iTunes 11.3.1 & iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2).

Huh! Now I do, too! Curiouser and curiouser.
