How to Watch the Presidential Debate on Your Apple Devices
The first U.S. presidential debate will air tonight, 26 September 2016 at 9 PM EDT. Ben Lovejoy of 9to5Mac has compiled a partial list of the many apps and Web sites that will let you watch live, for free. In addition, as we reported previously, Sling TV is offering a free preview today, which will carry the debate.
I guess this assumes that Bloomberg is impartiall
No, it assumes that any organization that claims to fact check cites their sources so anyone can verify the data. Verbal claims don't have citations that can be followed back to generally accepted statistics; that's the job of fact-checkers. If Bloomberg doesn't back up their corrections with citations to reputable sources, they're doing a bad job and should be ignored in favor of a group that will back up its research.
Regardless, someone has to determine the extent to which the politicians are being accurate, cherry-picking statistics, massaging the numbers after the fact, or just plain making stuff up. Which, to call a spade a spade, is lying.
I just learned that the Bloomberg fact check will not be part of the online stream, so it's a moot point anyway.
Thanks for the warning! I was able to successfully avoid not just the debate, but all coverage of the debate.
Glad we could help!
