by Agen G. N. Schmitz

Apple has released updates to its trio of iWork apps for the Mac — Pages 6.0.5 [1], Numbers 4.0.5 [2], and Keynote 7.0.5 [3] — with support for the context-sensitive Touch Bar on the new MacBook Pro (see “New MacBook Pros Add Context-sensitive Touch Bar [4],” 27 October 2016). All three enable you to edit text, shapes, tables, and charts using the Touch Bar, and Keynote also lets you control Slideshow playback from the Touch Bar. (All three apps are bundled with new Macs. Otherwise: $19.99 new for Pages, 228 MB; $19.99 new for Numbers [5], 170 MB; $19.99 new for Keynote [6], 469 MB; all three require 10.12+)
