Motorola CHRP Mac on Hold, Power IPO Pulled

According to Henry Norr’s MacWEEK column, Motorola has put its CHRP-based StarMax Pro 6000 on hold pending resolution of the licensing dispute with Apple over Mac OS licensing for CHRP. Motorola’s other StarMax models continue to be available, but with Mac OS 7.6. Also, Wired News reported that Power Computing has pulled the plug on its planned IPO as a result of the Apple buyout agreement.
