You can make text bigger in Excel by zooming to a larger percentage with the Zoom control in the toolbar, or by selecting the cells containing too-small text, choosing Format > Cells (Command-1), and then setting options in the Font pane. Welcome to our annual holiday gift issue, in which we pass along recommendations from readers that help us all decide what gifts to give our loved ones or to put on our own lists. As much as it's a bunch of extra work to put together this special issue, it's always tremendously enjoyable to share these suggestions with the TidBITS community.

On to the gift ideas then, and from all of us at TidBITS - Adam Engst, Tonya Engst, Geoff Duncan, Jeff Carlson, Mark Anbinder, Matt Neuburg, and Glenn Fleishman - may all your holiday wishes come true!
