I am still confused about Freedompop. On their website I can't find anything on the free 500 MB limit. In fact, they say, that it is $17.99/month after the first (free) month. I find this hide and seek suspicious.

Very disappointed with the Truphone Tru App. Advertised as supporting the sending and receiving of SMS messages, signed up, paid my dues only to find out the "The SMS and IM feature has currently been removed from the Tru App" so though they are advertising this as functionality available for a fee, you won't get the functionality. It appears IMHO Truphone may be going through some kind of transition or refocussing of their business away from the Tru Phone app.
