View the U.S. Inauguration on an iPhone or iPod touch

Ustream’s Viewing Application iPhone app has been approved by Apple just in time for users to install it on an iPhone or an iPod touch. The app lets you view live streams of video generally, and the inauguration or Barack Obama specifically, over a Wi-Fi connection. Once I opened the app on my iPod touch, I found that I could switch among Top Live, Featured, and All Live selections, with each showing a list of live streams and a count of how many people are watching. Within each video, users can also click a Share button to email info about the stream to a friend, and some of the streams offer a chat option. You can download the app from the App Store for free.
