Default Folder X 4.6.12
St. Clair Software has released Default Folder X 4.6.12 with a fix for a bug in OS X 10.10 Yosemite that causes Save As sheets in some applications to grow by 22 pixels each time you save a file (noted by Jason Snell at his Six Colors site). The Open and Save dialog enhancement utility also correctly tracks recently used folders in Carbon applications running in Yosemite, ensures that Default Folder X’s contextual menu works as it should in file dialogs that use column view in Yosemite, updates tags when AppleScript is used to change the name of the file being saved, and reorganizes the menu bar
menu to place more frequently used items at the top. ($34.95 new, $10 off for TidBITS members, free update, 11.0 MB, release notes, 10.6+)
