iMovie 10.0.8

Apple has released iMovie 10.0.8 with a fix for a bug introduced with the previous version (see “iMovie 10.0.7,” 14 March 2015) that caused the video editing app to crash on launch (as reported in several Apple Support Communities discussions, such as this one). The release also updates compatibility with sharing to YouTube when using the built-in share sheet export option. ($14.99 new from the Mac App Store, free update, 2.0 GB, 10.10.2+)

I recently had my macbook wiped and had everything re uploaded onto the mac as i had many viruses on the system. Having done this i released i didn't have all of my applications such as the imovie i had been familiar with for the last 6 months. I have since downloaded the iMovie 10.0.8 from the app store and have managed to locate my current project however with the new layout being different, i cannot figure out something. I have a video already with background music, but i need to take the background music out and be left with a copy with just my editing. How do i get up the background music tool to edit it?
