Default Folder X 5.3
St. Clair Software has released Default Folder X 5.3, bringing full support for macOS 10.14 Mojave. Note that you will be prompted by Mojave to give Default Folder X permission to control the Finder. The Open/Save dialog enhancement utility improves tracking of recently used files to better recognize files that macOS’s Recent Items list doesn’t see, adds separators to the Favorites menu for better visual organization, ensures that Finder drawers now remain visible if you’re dragging and dropping an item, fixes a bug that prevented Default Folder X’s exclusion list from working with Java apps, and adds support for iBooks, Books, and Newtek LightWave.
