The HandBrake Team has issued version 1.3.2 of its open-source video conversion program HandBrake with a number of improvements, including a fix for the color range conversion being applied twice when scaling video and improved support for H.265 video in AVI containers produced by some security cameras. The update also adds logging to identify problematic sources where container and video track pixel aspect ratios differ, fixes the offset position of burned-in subtitles when the cropscale filter is not used, fixes a new track audio mixdown behavior issue that selects DPL2 instead of stereo, and resolves problems with queued job failures related to removable drives.
