Apple has released iBooks Author 1.1, which prepares for the imminent arrival of the third-generation iPad with support for creating books that can take advantage of the new Retina display (see “Apple Announces Third-Generation iPad,” 7 March 2012). I have iBoos Author 1.0 installed on a Mac running 10.7.3. I am trying to deliver an .ibook file to iTunes but error says I need Author 1.1 but I have not been able to upgrade to i.1 because when I try to download 1.1 I'm kicked back to i.o and the "Install" button is greyed out and changed to "Installed" Wazzup?
