Pear Note 2.0
Useful Fruit Software has released Pear Note 2.0, a substantial update to its multimedia note-taking application. The software lets you record audio and video simultaneously as you take traditional text notes. The new version includes a complete interface overhaul, and adds several new features. You can now share your notes on the Web from within the software, adjust the speed of audio playback (in case you’re transcribing a speedy speaker, or need to hurry up a droner), and create multiple slides within a single note. The upgrade also improves search speed and accuracy. The full change log notes a few other new improvements.
A free, 30-day trial is available, and upgrades are free to all Pear Note 1 users. ($39.99 new, free upgrade, 5.0 MB)
An outstanding application and a really great tool. Sure does wow a study group when you can use Pear Note to go right to a specific part of a lecture.
