Remote Desktop 3.8
Apple has released Apple Remote Desktop 3.8 with full support for OS X 10.10 Yosemite and an updated user interface that fits better with Yosemite’s aesthetic. The remote management software adds enhancements for sending files using Copy Items, improves remote viewing of clients in full screen mode, and adds multi-observe improvements for viewing a large number of clients. If you previously installed Apple Remote Desktop 3.x from disc, future updates will be supplied via the Mac App Store. ($79.99 new from the Mac App Store, free update, 15.0 MB, release notes, 10.9+)
No beef with the performance of the app here, but unfortunately the new interface is following the B&W and greyness loonacy. I had to turn on text with the icons because the icons themselves had turned into small meaningless blobs. Why not get rid of icons all together and be done with? Monochrome screens will be in vogue again soon anyway. Nobody needs colour.
I used it, but since they didn't update it for a long time, I swtched to http://logmein.com until it became paid-only, then I switched to http://teamviewer.com which works good enough, but for paid solution I prefer https://deskroll.com which works without client on my side, through web browser. My company bought for support, so I use it to assist them.
