Ulysses 19.1

Ulysses has released version 19.1 of its eponymous writing app with a new Material sheets feature, enabling you to mark sheets that you use only for research, brainstorming, notes, or descriptive texts as “Material,” thus excluding them from counters, goals, and export. The update also adds support for using keywords in Markdown files, which are entered into the keywords field in Ulysses and then exported as a paragraph at the very end of a text file with all your keywords written out as hashtags. The new version also includes new filter criteria: “has goal,” “has note attachment,” and “is material.” For the iOS edition, Ulysses now supports using a trackpad or mouse with the iPad, and you can now embed external folders from locations in the Files app on both iPad and iPhone. ($39.99 annual subscription from the Mac App Store, included in the $9.99-per-month Setapp Mac app subscription service, free update, 20 MB, release notes, macOS 10.13+)
