VMware Fusion 8.1.1
VMware has updated the standard and Pro editions of its popular virtualization package to version 8.1.1. The update fixes a crash related to running graphics and gaming software with Multisample anti-aliasing (MSAA) enabled in a Windows virtual machine, resolves a host-system memory leak that was caused by resizing the window of a running virtual machine, solves a problem with network address translation (NAT) breaking when port forwarding is enabled, and fixes problems with connecting a scanner or flash drive through a USB 3.0 controller. I've checked twice since this article came out, and my version of VMware Fusion, 8.1.0, says that I am up-to-date.
Same here.
I just checked again today (27Apr2016@1555) and the update is now available.
So does this mean that VMware Fusion is still being actively developed after the team was laid off? I'm a bit concerned about updating given that the experts are gone...
