Voila 3.7.2

Global Delight has released Voila 3.7.2 with a gaggle of new features and improvements to the the screen capture utility. A new option to remove duplicate frames during recording reduces video file size by cutting out extraneous frames and makes for an overall crisper video. The update also adds pinch gesture support (for use with MacBook trackpads or the Magic Mouse), a new Dock icon with menu options to instantly capture and record, an option to either show or hide the mouse cursor in recordings, and support for importing videos directly into QuickTime for trimming. Additionally, Voila improves FTP/SFTP sharing with a new, thorough user interface, updates the Voila Player from
QuickTime to the AVFoundation framework, adds support for Notification Center, and adds a File > Save As menu option. Voila is currently on sale for $19.99 through 20 May 2014 via both the Global Delight Web site and the Mac App Store. ($29.99 new from Global Delight with a 25 percent discount for TidBITS members or from the Mac App Store, free update, 26.4 MB, release notes)
