Show Me the MacMoney!

For those distressed at Intuit’s recent cessation of development on the Macintosh version of Quicken, we’ve turned up an alternative. The venerable MacMoney 4.02, available for $89.95 from the aptly named Survivor Software, continues to be enhanced and reportedly works fine under current versions of the Mac OS. MacMoney demos are available from the Survivor Software Web site, and Mike Farmer of Survivor Software (a Mac developer since 1983) noted that MacMoney can read QIF files, so Quicken users can move most of their data over. Survivor Software also sells InvoicIt, a $79.95 add-on to MacMoney that adds accounts receivable and invoicing features.
