Mac Publication Auction Benefit

GCSF Inc., the Oklahoma-based publisher of MWJ, MDJ, and MMJ, is auctioning two lifetime subscriptions to the company’s highly regarded Macintosh-related publications to help raise money for the Oklahoma City National Memorial, which is to be constructed to remember the 168 people who died in the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. GCSF Publisher Matt Deatherage noted in a personal essay, "We want to help; we want to act locally even as we think globally, but we don’t have much to offer besides our newsletters." The Amazon-based auction ends on 03-Dec-99; bidding starts at $765, the price of a lifetime subscription when GCSF offered a limited number earlier this year.
