Indie+Relief Donates All January 20th Proceeds to Support Haiti
Here's another way to support the relief efforts in earthquake-torn Haiti: buy software from the Indie+Relief site on 20 January 2010. You won't get a deal, but you will get great products from independent Mac and iPhone developers and all the proceeds will go to charities (selected by each developer) doing good deeds in Haiti. Kudos to the Indie+Relief organizers and all the developers who are participating.
There are a lot of indie developers that heard about this effort after they'd already locked down the list. Many are participating anyhow. For instance I'm donating all proceeds from sales of Battle for Vesta for the 19th, 20th, and 21st to Healing Hands for Haiti.
Battle for Vesta is a 3D Space Combat game that is fast, has precision controls, and lets you participate in massive space battles. Here's the app store link:

That's great to hear, John - this sort of thing requires a huge amount of coordination and effort, and it's not at all surprising that many developers who wanted to participate didn't hear in time. Thanks for including the link to your product, and I encourage any other developer doing the same to leave a comment here as well.
