Apple has issued a recall for the Beats Pill XL speaker, due to an issue that could cause the battery to overheat and cause a fire. Customers can return their speakers to Apple for a $325 refund. The Beats Pill XL was introduced in 2013, while Apple didn’t acquire Beats until 2014.
