Pandoland Conference Offers Free Admission for Women
The Pandoland technology and entrepreneurship conference, which takes place in Nashville, Tennessee from 15 June to 17 June 2015, is giving away free tickets to female entrepreneurs in order to combat institutional sexism (tickets are usually $699 each). Women are also invited to bring a guest of any gender for free. Confirmed speakers include Birchbox co-founder Katia Beauchamp, Blue Bottle founder James Freeman, Postmates founder Bastian Lehman, and Stack Overflow CEO Joel Spolsky. There will also be a startup competition.
