Hulu Now Offering an “Ad-Free” Option
Tired of the repetitive commercials on Hulu Plus? The good news is that the streaming TV service is now offering a commercial-free version for $11.99 per month, with the ad-laden version still available at $7.99 per month. However, some shows, like ABC’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” will still feature ads.
So, it seems like a better way of phrasing this would be:
"The straming TV service is now offering a version with fewer commercials, except in programs whose provider really wants to push the advertising ... which, within six months, will be most programs."
Maybe I should put Dr. Evil-style quotation marks around "ad-free?" :-)
or, just stream/download whatever you want for free from other places, and with no ads. until the pay services are easier/cheaper/faster/better, piracy methods will still be the best solution.
