Apple Releases Free Schoolwork App for Teachers

Google’s Chromebooks and Google Classroom have become a huge hit in U.S. schools, and Apple is fighting back with its new Schoolwork app for the iPad, which complements the company’s existing Classroom app. While Classroom focuses on managing student iPads, Schoolwork concentrates on actual education, helping teachers to “easily distribute and collect assignments, keep an eye on student progress in educational apps, and collaborate one on one with students from anywhere, in real time.” If you’re a teacher, what do you think about Apple’s Classroom and Schoolwork apps, and will you use them in your classroom?
