The Mac’s First Product Manager Discusses Working with Jobs and Woz

Joe Shelton joined Apple in 1979, sitting 30 feet away from Steve Jobs. When he tried to quit several years later, Jobs showed him the Macintosh prototype and asked him if he wanted to be the project manager. Shelton said yes, and the rest is history.
