Acorn 8.3.3

Flying Meat has released Acorn 8.3.3, which changes the measurement unit for rulers and fields from a per-image setting to a global setting. The image editor’s Export window now defaults to the last used color profile, adds a blend mode option to the Flood Fill tool, brings a blending option to the Redraw Layer filter, resolves an issue where the zoom palette wouldn’t update correctly, addresses a button truncation problem that occurred while viewing the layer filters when the window was set to full screen, and fixes a bug where using the Stroke Selection command would sometimes draw the stroke in the wrong location. A finalist for Mac App of the Year, Acorn is on sale for a limited time for $19.99 (a $10 savings). ($29.99 new from Flying Meat and the Mac App Store, 20% discount for TidBITS members, free update, 87 MB, release notes, macOS 14+)
