Agenda 14.0.1

Momenta has issued version 14 of its Agenda date-focused note-taking app with improvements to tagging and auto-completion, plus the introduction of editable attachments. All Agenda users will be able to open and edit attachments with other apps (with automatic updating in Agenda), take advantage of a new tag browser, insert emojis by typing their shorthand names, insert templates into existing notes with the \template action, and perform simple calculations with the \expression action. Premium-only features in the update enable users to change the colors of tags in notes; use a new auto-completion system for tags, people, emojis, internal links, and actions; filter the sidebar to show only recently visited or edited projects; import or export notes in Markdown; and export notes in HTML. Agenda was updated to version 14.0.1 to improve the reliability of editing attachments and fix a crash when typing multi-byte languages like Korean. (Free with $24.99 in-app premium feature purchase, free update, 70.2 MB, release notes, macOS 10.12+)

  1. I’ve been on the beta for a while now and I can attest as to the pleasures in using this app.

A bit of a steep hill perhaps to get fully and integrate into a busy user’s. But it is an app which combines elegant note taking, to do lists, and calendars and it has found a key place in my workflows.
