Airfoil 5.12.4 and Audio Hijack 4.4.5

Rogue Amoeba has updated two of its audio utilities with bug fixes: Airfoil 5.12.4 (wireless audio broadcasting) and Audio Hijack 4.4.5 (full-featured audio recording). Audio Hijack gets the bigger lift of the two, updating the user interface framework, enabling you to click a menu bar meter to bring its associated session forward, correcting issues with the animation of the Time Shift block’s slider, and resolving a drawing bug that affected unchecked checkboxes in macOS 15 Sequoia. Airfoil now better handles situations where the Local Network permission has been disabled and ensures the Finder special source will no longer incorrectly receive audio when previewing inside another app’s Open dialog. (Airfoil, $35, 33.4 MB, release notes; Audio Hijack, $64, 31.4 MB, release notes; all have a 20% discount for TidBITS members, are free updates, and require macOS 14.4+)
