Bookends 15.4

Sonny Software has released Bookends 15.4 with improved integration with Microsoft Word and Apple Intelligence. Accessed in the Word toolbar’s Bookends tab, the new Microsoft Word Citation Inspector enables you to view and use metadata in the references you cite and their associated PDF annotations while you are writing. The reference management tool improves metadata identification when importing from existing bibliographies using Apple Intelligence, and improves the detection and parsing of metadata returned by Apple Intelligence. The update also allows you to remove multiple links from the Link Inspector at once, improves text case preservation when outputting BibTeX, updates the database engine with speed improvements, and resolves problems that occurred when dragging and dropping reference links using Option-Command.
