BusyCal 2025.3.1 and BusyContacts 2025.3.1

Busy Apps has released BusyCal 2025.3.1 and BusyContacts 2025.3.1, both packed with new features and improvements. BusyCal will now suggest existing events and tasks as templates while you edit or update a title, redesigns the calendar picker in the Info Panel (adding keyboard tabbing, live filtering, and search term highlighting), updates behavior for syncing Group Calendars in Microsoft Graph accounts to be optional, brings new and improved duration pickers accessible from end time/due time fields, resolves an issue where non-Google Meet conference call links were being overwritten with Google Meet, fixes a bug where calendar push sync registration sometimes failed to update for Google Calendar, and addresses an issue where dragging an event into the Mail Compose window would fail in macOS 15 Sequoia and later.

BusyContacts now enables you to create contacts from business cards, lets you exchange contact data by importing and sharing contacts as QR codes, adds a menu option to create a contact when the Clipboard contains vCard data, adds an advanced setting to choose whether addresses open in Google Maps or Apple’s Maps, updates address book formats for some missing countries, fixes a bug where certain fields would not show within the template contact, resolves an issue where dragging or pasting an image onto a contact’s profile photo would fail, and boosts performance with under-the-hood optimizations and improved data storage techniques. ($49.99 new for BusyCal from Busy Apps or the Mac App Store, free update, in Setapp, 70.2 MB, release notes, macOS 11.5+; $49.99 new for BusyContacts from Busy Apps or the Mac App Store, free update, in Setapp, 28.2 MB, release notes, macOS 11.5+)
