Busy Apps has issued BusyContacts 2026.1.2 with major performance and user interface improvements to the calendar app. The release adds a setting to Group Upcoming Events for showing upcoming birthdays and anniversaries at the top of your contacts list, introduces a card layout style where the profile photo is now stacked with the contact name, offers improved auto-completion suggestions when editing contact details, displays profile photos of related contacts alongside their names in the Info View, enables you to drag tags from the Tag panel to the Info panel to add them to the contact, ensures floating contact windows remain visible when switching between apps, improves support for importing vCard 2.1 format files, adds support for the Jamaica address format, improves handling of iCloud sync errors where profile photos may download partially, and makes improvements to the Apple Mail Plugin.
