ChronoSync 12 and ChronoAgent 12

Econ Technologies has updated its ChronoSync and ChronoAgent synchronization and backup tools to version 12, bringing several new time- and event-based scheduling options and full compatibility with macOS 26 Tahoe. ChronoSync 12 adds support for remote triggering of synchronizer tasks via ChronoAgent, adds an option to run a two-pass synchronizer with optionally performing deletions, reworks how iCloud directory contents are asynchronously gathered, improves progress feedback for iCloud and File Provider file operations, adds several new AWS S3 endpoints, and implements better error message generation that attempts to display the actual file name instead of the temp filename. ChronoAgent 12 refines the user interface in the System Settings pane, tracks unmounted volumes to improve volume enumeration performance, and eliminates the use of numerous deprecated APIs.

ChronoSync is priced at $49.99, ChronoAgent costs $19.99, and the two apps are bundled together for $59.99. Owners of previous ChronoSync and ChronoAgent licenses can upgrade to version 12 for free. ($49.99 new for ChronoSync with a 20% discount for TidBITS members, free update, 102.7 MB, release notes, macOS 10.14+; $19.99 new for ChronoAgent, 67.7 MB, release notes, 10.14+)
