Coherence X 5.0.1

BZG has released Coherence X 5.0, the first major upgrade in over four years for the site-specific browser that lets you turn websites into Chromium-based native apps. Version 5 introduces a redesigned creation tool built for macOS 26 Tahoe and Liquid Glass, a new step-by-step interface that makes it easier to go from URL to Mac app in seconds, a revamped icon picker with improved support for macOS-style artwork, and support for Chromium and Ungoogled Chromium. The update also now enables newly created apps to launch immediately after setup without any extra steps, allows you to reopen apps and pick up right where you left off with automatic tab restoration, and enables you to save preferred defaults for browser engine, app mode, and behaviors when creating new apps. A quick 5.0.1 update provides support for Chrome 140, which broke icons and session management for Coherence apps. Coherence X is now priced at $39.99 for one Mac (with a 25% discount for upgrades from version 4) and requires macOS 13.5 Ventura or later. ($39.99 new, $29.99 upgrade, in Setapp, 26.4 MB, release notes, macOS 13.5+)
