Default Folder X 6.1.2

St. Clair Software has issued Default Folder X 6.1.2 to address problems with macOS 15 Sequoia and improve support for Quick Search and Finder labels. The Open/Save dialog utility corrects an issue in Sequoia that could result in the failure of Finder-click, items not activating in Save dialogs, and user interface elements showing when they shouldn’t. The release also revamps the handling of Finder labels so label colors show correctly in the app’s menus and Information panel, improves Quick Search to put more weight on how recently you used an item, and fixes a bug in the Recent Folders and Recent Files menus that could cause errors if you delete a large number of recent items on disk. ($39.95 new, free update, TidBITS members save $10 on new copies and $5 on upgrades, in Setapp, 17.6 MB, release notes, macOS 10.13+)
