Default Folder X 6.1.7

St. Clair Software has released Default Folder X 6.1.7 with a new submenu enhancement for the Open/Save dialog utility. Now, when you hold down the Command key, Default Folder X adds a submenu to whatever file is currently selected in its menu with file-handling options (Open, Reveal in Finder, Copy, Copy Path, Share, and Open With). The update also adds a Share command to the contextual menu in Quick Search, corrects an issue that prevented typing into app-specific edit fields in a Save dialog, fixes a bug that could make two edit fields in a file dialog appear active at the same time, correctly enhances Save dialogs in Quick Look previews (such as after trimming a video), resolves an issue that caused the app to perform certain operations repeatedly and use more CPU resources, and eliminates a rare crash that occurred when switching folders in an Open or Save dialog. ($39.95 new, free update, TidBITS members save $10 on new copies and $5 on upgrades, in Setapp, 21.2 MB, release notes, macOS 10.13+)
