Default Folder X 6.2.2

St. Clair Software has issued Default Folder X 6.2.2 with enhancements and bug fixes for the Open/Save dialog utility. The release now tints icons of folders in the app’s menus when a color tag has been assigned to them, adds support for the Bloom file manager, ensures the toolbar appears more reliably when when using File > Move To > Other, corrects selection and window activation issues in Open and Save dialogs in macOS 26 Tahoe, turns off Tahoe’s distracting animations when Default Folder X’s Finder-click shadows appear and disappear, resolves an issue where the Quick Search window would get stuck on screen after an incomplete drag-and-drop, and correctly enables contextual menu items for Quick Search results when searching within a folder. ($39.95 new, free update, TidBITS members save $10 on new copies and $5 on upgrades, in Setapp, 27.5 MB, release notes, macOS 10.13+)
