St. Clair Software has issued Default Folder X 6.2.7, a maintenance update with a few improvements for the Open/Save dialog utility. The release fixes recurring problems with folders failing to open in the Finder on some systems, adds a Default Folder X: Alias command in Finder contextual menus, sorts the contents of all menus in the Actions pane below Save dialogs alphabetically, corrects problems with keyboard focus and text selection in the filename edit field in Save dialogs, and resolves compatibility issues with the aText text expansion utility.
