DEVONthink 3.9.8

DEVONtechnologies has issued DEVONthink 3.9.8 with a grab bag of improvements and bug fixes for the document and information manager. The update provides faster and more robust WYSIWYG editing and syntax coloring, adds a Reveal Image command to the contextual menu of HTML views, improves support for viewing and using WebP images, improves conversion of PDF documents to Markdown, ignores hidden elements more reliably when indexing and converting HTML-based file types to plain text, enhances syncing between three or more devices to avoid unnecessary actions, ensures the thumbnail creation of third-party file formats uses Apple’s latest framework, resolves a crash when editing Markdown documents with WYSIWYG, fixes a bug that would open PDFs transcluded into Markdown documents via item links instead of displaying them, and addresses a few bugs related to macOS 15 Sequoia (including token fields and images not receiving data necessary for image comparison after syncing). ($99 new for DEVONthink, $199 for DEVONthink Pro, and $499 for DEVONthink Server with a 15% discount for TidBITS members; free update; release notes (hover over the version number); 126.1 MB; macOS 11+)
