Flexibits has updated its bundled calendar and contact apps Fantastical 4.0.5 and Cardhop 2.3.4 with improvements and bug fixes. Fantastical adds actions in Shortcuts to search for events and tasks, adds logic to the Show Calendar shortcut to skip today’s past events, improves handling of alarms when using templates, no longer allows dragging and dropping of a mixed set of all-day and timed items, resolves an issue that could prevent adding proposal times after changing the calendar, addresses problem with repeating tasks on Exchange accounts, fixes a bug that caused tasks to close randomly, and resolves an issue that prevented RSVP meeting attendees from being manually removed.

Cardhop adds support for Bluesky usernames on contact cards, improves detection of usernames in social network URLs, improves synchronization of widget configurations, fixes a bug that caused the insertion point to jump to the beginning of the line when typing notes, resolves an issue where Exchange accounts could show an incorrect heading in the sidebar, and fixes a bug where entering special characters into the search field could lead to a crash.
