Firefox 149

Mozilla has issued Firefox 149, adding a free built-in VPN to the Web browser. The feature includes a 50 GB monthly data limit and is available to a limited set of users during the initial rollout. To find out if you’re eligible, sign in with a Mozilla account. The update also adds a Split View feature that enables you to view two pages side-by-side in a single window (a tremendously useful feature in Arc and Dia), loads PDF files significantly faster thanks to hardware acceleration, automatically blocks notifications and permanently revokes permissions for any website flagged as malicious by SafeBrowsing, provides an option to add a Share button to your toolbar via Customize Toolbar, and adds a Tab notes feature via Firefox Labs that allows you to attach a short note to a Web page. (Free, 150.1 MB, release notes, macOS 10.15+)
