Apple has published GarageBand 10.4.12, a maintenance update featuring improvements and bug fixes for the music creation and audio editing app. The update makes several enhancements to VoiceOver accessibility (including activating the Automatic Level Control checkbox in Smart Controls and reading out the Preview button in the Loop Browser), remains responsive while downloading content as expected, ensures that left-corner edits no longer change existing fills at the end of Drummer regions, preserves Undo history when saving a song, fixes an issue where an “Audio file not found” alert could unexpectedly appear, and now requires macOS 14.4 Sonoma or later.
