GrandPerspective 3.6.1

Erwin Bonsma celebrated the 20th anniversary of his GrandPerspective graphical disk usage utility with the release of version 3.6 back in August 2025. That build added the ability to color blocks by size and expanded the help documentation to include instructions for resolving hangs. Closing out 2025 with version 3.6.1, GrandPerspective now checks if Full Disk Access has been granted, prompting if you need to do so, and fixes a bug where a rescan could trigger a crash. It’s a free download from SourceForge, or you can purchase it from the Mac App Store for $2.99 to support further development and cover distribution costs. (Free, 2.5 MB, macOS 11+)
