Apple site is not working properly to download iTunes 12.4.2
If you click download, 11.4.dmg gets downloaded. The system requirements on the page appear correct but wrong version gets listed as the download.
My mistake. Attempted the download on a Mac running OS X 10.6.8. The website is smarter than you think. 12.4.2 is not compatible with 10.6.8 so it defaults to what is compatible for the old operating system. Sorry for any confusion. Was trying to get it downloaded to an external HD for storage and use later.
they STILL haven't fixed the bug wherein itunes automagically rates albums. this has gone beyond annoying into another dimension of incompetence. when are the appletards going to fix this bug?!?
If this feature bothers you a ton, there's a smart playlist you can make to fix the issue. Set "album rating" to anywhere between 1 and 5 stars, and have the "rating" set to zero. That should catch any song you haven't rated, but the album rating feature has. You can then fix them yourself, since album rating doesn't overwrite your own rating.
