Lightroom Classic 14.2

Adobe has issued Lightroom Classic 14.2 with a new image adjustment feature and performance enhancements for the desktop-focused photo cataloging and editing app. The new Adaptive Profiles (which work best on raw images in HDR mode) use AI to evaluate the raw file and dynamically enhance tones and colors as a starting point for further editing. The update’s performance improvements include masking enhancements, smoother transitions in crop rotation, and more responsive white balance adjustments. Lightroom Classic also now lets you select focus points by clicking anywhere on the tethered live view window for Sony, Canon, and Nikon cameras; introduces a new backup panel in Catalog Settings; and improves folder enumeration time during launch. ($9.99/$19.99/$59.99 monthly Creative Cloud subscription, free update for subscribers, release notes, macOS 13.1+)
