Mellel 6.2

Mellel has published version 6.2 of its eponymous word processor with import/export support for comments in Microsoft Word DOCX documents and usability enhancements to the Bibliography palette’s Citations in Document list and Edit Citation dialog. The release also removes spelling marks from display when turning off spelling, updates the background for equations to be transparent (requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later), draws equations white-on-black when in Dark mode, changes the paragraph break for plain text to a line feed (LF) from a carriage return (CR), supports the proper rendering of Mandaic text, addresses a hang that occurred with equations whose code contained a single quote character, and resolves crashes when turning on split view while editing a comment or a header/footer. ($69.99 new, free update, 102.2 MB, release notes, macOS 10.13+)
