Merlin Project 9.2

ProjectWizards has released Merlin Project 9.2, adding a built-in MCP server to the project management app. This lightweight local helper enables AI clients like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Antigravity to interact directly with Merlin Project, allowing them to read project data and modify documents using a defined set of MCP commands. The update also improves general stability.

Merlin Project Express 9.2, built for individual project managers, also receives the MCP server. It costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year through the Mac App Store, and it’s included in the Setapp subscription service. (Merlin Project Express, $69.99 annual subscription, 27.9 MB, release notes; Merlin Project, $229.99 annual subscription, 48.2 MB, release notes, macOS 13+)
