Piezo 1.9.9

Rogue Amoeba has issued Piezo 1.9.9, putting its “charmingly simple” audio recording tool on par with other updates applied to other audio apps from the Rogue Amoeba stable. The release declutters the menus in macOS 26 Tahoe (removing the Apple menu bar icons), makes software update notifications less obtrusive, and adds VoIP capture support for the Quo app (formerly OpenPhone) to enable recording of both halves of a conversation. Piezo also improves visuals in several dialogs, fixes a crash that could occur due to improper resource cleanup during installation of Loopback or SoundSource, and ensures the contextual menu now appears properly for the Code field in the License window. ($29, free update, 12.8 MB, release notes, macOS 14.4+)
